Cybersecurity is no longer just a federal issue in the U.S. In 2016, more
than 20 states introduced laws or regulations dealing with cybersecurity in
some capacity. Below are examples of the various new requirements
passed at the state level, ranging from a mandate to study cybersecurity
issues, to requirements for specific cybersecurity measures.
