ABA Certificate in Operational Risk Management
Operational risk is increasing as banks
adapt new business models, transform
technology and operating processes and
respond to an increasing number of
threats. An effective risk framework must
cover threats that impact the bank from
the frontline to the boardroom, and everywhere in-between.
The ABA Certificate in Operational Risk
Management is designed to assist those
with risk management and audit responsi-
bilities to create, implement, manage, and
assess sound and compliant operational
risk management plans. These eleven
courses address several key areas, includ-
ing Operational Risk Model Management,
Cybersecurity Management, Vendor Risk
Management, and Risk and Control Self-
Assessments. While courses are available
individually, completion of all 11 courses
earns the ABA certificate and is an ideal
training resource. All courses include vid-
eo segments from industry practitioners
and delivered in an interactive mobile for-
mat that is flexible and engaging. See all
the details at aba.com/BROT.
